Food Tracking versus Calorie Counting

In my opinion, if it works for you and your seeing results .... go for it! However, neither should be seen as a fits all approach!


For some they view it as a helpful tool to stay accountable - which is GREAT! However, for others it can be exhausting, time consuming and very damaging to their self worth and create unhealthy obsessions/relationships with food! This can in turn lead to serious health concerns like increasing your risk of developing eating disorders.
